These are the 6 that I am DEFINITELY getting (but I might ditch ANAD Avengers for A-Force)

Invincible Iron Man Vol. 2 (I've read 2 issues, and it's fun)

Ms. Marvel Vol. 4 (Just doing what they did before. Good)

The Mighty Thor Vol. 2 (because Jason Aaron's Thor is great)

Spider-Gwen Vol. 2 (see Ms. Marvel)

All-New, All-Different Avengers (It's got Thor. But if they do develop it as a Thor/Cap love story, I'm not really interested)

Captain Marvel Vol. 9 (although there is nothing about this set up that grabs me, I'll give it a few issues)

Then a bunch of books that I'm interested in, but we'll see

International Iron Man (a 2nd Iron Man book? I hope that this won't be essential)
All-New Inhumans (I enjoyed the last run of Inhumans)
A-Force Vol. 2 (G. Willow Wilson's Ms. Marvel was good, her A-Force less so, but I can be convinced)
Illuminati (Looks interesting, and it visually looks great)
Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat (Love Patsy Walker, not a huge fan of Kate Leth)
Angela: Queen of Hel (Angela 1602 was good)
Black Widow Vol. 6 (This is a great team on an interesting character)

And then a few books that I might have considered

New Avengers Vol. 4 Al Ewing (W), Gerardo Sandoval (A)
Uncanny Inhumans Charles Soule (W), Steve McNiven (A)
Doctor Strange Vol. 4 Jason Aaron (W), Chris Bachalo (A)
Star-Lord Vol. 2 Sam Humphries (W), Javier Garron (A)
Starbrand and Nightmask Greg Weisman (W), Dominike Stanton (A)
Ultimates Vol. 4 Al Ewing (W), Kenneth Rocafort (A)

That's 18 books. There is no way that I am going to buy 18 books, on top of the Image/Boom!/Monkeybrain books that I already pick up. Not a chance. I'm now less likely to give some books a chance because I don't have the money to spend on comics which are a relatively short lived form of entertainment.

Is it just me that has the problem of there being too many exciting comic books?

I definitely think Marvel in particular are trying to up their game every time they push out a bunch of new titles; for all the ones that have to be there because they'll always sell - the Avengers titles, for instance (although that isn't a comment on the quality of previous or current runs) or X-Men, or books that are being pushed as part of the company strategy like the Inhumans (also not a comment on the quality of the books) - there are books like Moon Knight or Ms Marvel or even Captain Marvel, which I thought turned into a really special book and character under Deconnick's pen, whereas I haven't been interested before. But I do think Marvel are really trying to compete with the Image/Dark Horse/Boom!/IDW crowd - DC are trying to do the same, but instead of putting quirkier creators on in-universe books, we're largely getting a half-hearted Vertigo push with mostly established creators.

But I definitely agree. I'm mostly a trade-waiter, but even when it comes to trades, there's pretty much too many good books out there.

As far as I'm concerned... Yes.

Barely interested what Marvel & DC are putting out these days - I'm reading 3 DC, and I think 4 Marvel. I've gone from needing to visit my LCS every week to only needing to go once a month.

There's a world of comics outside the Big Two.

Though I can''t say many of these titles appeal to me as a reader (my "Big 2" pull list is right down at the minute, and has to be trimmed a bit more I suspect) I am pleased at the sheer diversity of the characters that are being published, and not in niche titles either.

As a reviewer, this is great for me since I get to try many new titles and see what is good or not. However, I can't help but be concerned that is a bit too many for Marvel to have out at once and since all of them are now priced at four dollars, they may not get as big of sales as they are hoping.

I wouldn't say too many, but there is getting to a decent selection from all the companies. From Marvel I'll probably only picking up A-Force and Ms Marvel, but I'm also getting the IDW Godzilla series and the IDW More Than Meets The Eye, and Titan's Rivers of London, and DC's JL 3001, and of course 2000AD and Judge Dredd Megazine. Oh, and I'm strongly thinking of getting the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina too. And I keep hearing rumors of Titan or IDW picking up New Tricks for a comic series, but that one seems to be just one fan's personal belief, but if it happens then I am in.

Have you considered getting a subscription to Marvel Unlimited?

Yeah, this is what I do. I don't trade-wait any more, I Marvel-Unlimited-wait now.

There are soooo many good comics to read, and I just have to be patient for an extra six months or so.

I really wish DC had the same thing going.

The only problem is minimum half a year waiting time before the comics become available on Unlimited.

But still, it's an amazing way to catch-up with the backlog. I played catch-up on everything in a month or two.

Yeah, Marvel are really trying to get my money in a way that actually surprises me.

With the amount of really appealing, and really different, stuff they publish, I'm not sure they couldn't gain more sales and as much money at $2.50 an issue. I mean, that's probably too low, really, but yeah....

Lessee, that's Cap's shield, what looks like an Iron Man type gauntlet, Black Widow's belt and unless I'm mistaken an Asgardian-style helmet, and I can't place the bracelet on her left arm offhand...

... Kamala, what have you been up to? And can we read about it in the comic, please?

Might be one of Hawkeye's arm guards?

The bracelet on her left arm is just a regular part of her costume, it's always there. I guess poor Hawkeye doesn't get a shoutout.

Well, you don't know for sure. She could have a quiver on her back and you just can't see it in the picture. ;-)
