Also, Ben just getting to be in space and have adventures amongst other folks who look just as offbeat as him (where Kitty and Flash are the odd ones out) is really nice.

Isn't the Infinity Gauntlet just a gauntlet because Thanos stuck all the gems on one of his gloves after collecting them? He could have made an Infinity Codpiece if he felt like it.

So why does Rocket Racoon have the janky speech bubbles? Does he have a gravelly voice? Because I'd think Drax and Thing would have gravelly voices too.

I think that he's meant to have a pronounced accent. A lot of versions of him in other media have him speaking with a Cockney accent, and Bradley Cooper was going with a sort of, IDK, NYC "gangster" accent in the movie.

His bubbles used to be yellow as well, so his voice has de-Deadpool'd in recent years.

I cannot help but wonder if Bendis was taking a shot at the SW prequels with the whole "Peter Quill being extremely bored at the notion of tax-related disputes?"

I enjoyed the way the clone wars dealt with it, though. Though I don't think so , usually Bendis does not make attacks so subtle...I think.

That series of panels with just Rocket and Kitty's facial expressions is adorable.

It makes me appreciate non-copy-pasted art so much more. Every panel is unique, HOLY CRAP!

(seriously I find that so rare in 'modern' comics that I had to rejoice with that)

Why does it seem that Bendis is contractually obligated too include Kitty Pryde in literally every book he writes. Honestly I'm not entirely sure how marvel got the idea to keep including random superheroes in guardians every month until I buy a book with no plot and no direction.

You say it looks like contractual obligation, I say it looks like he wants to write a favorite character no matter the setting.

Considering what he did to Kitty's previous relationship (broke up Kitty and Bobby, cast sudden and new aspersions on Bobby's heterosexuality), I think that's the case.
