Such delightful backstabbing, long game playing and political manouvering on multiple levels.

This may be "unsquee", but it's very "fun".

And absolutely nobody is surprised that Darth Vader walks unscathed out of a building that collapsed on top of him, because people have done that to him before and it's never managed to do more than slow him down. As it did this time, obviously.

There's a scene in the "Death Star" novel, where Darth Vader challenges the "Top Gun" of the latest class of TIE Fighter pilot graduates, as an object lesson.

Vader flies rings around him (literally) flying his TIE fighter in ways that no one had ever seen before, turns that should have had it explode and dives that should have been suicidal.

Later on, one of the mechanics on the ship Vader was using notes that the usual automated targetting and piloting systems had never been turned on, and everything he had managed he had managed manually.

That's the sort of legend that will grow VERY quickly.

I do like Gillen's recycling of the line he employed with Death's Head in Iron Man.

I love, love the storm troopers shooter at the ship with small arms fire. Its the most "better at least look like I am working" think ever.
