I'll Be Doom for Christmas

This is from 'What The...' #10.

On Christmas Eve, Santa goes to visit Dr. Doom and accidentally sets off one of his traps. Injured, he pleads with Doom to deliver his presents. In exchange, he promises Doom his heart's desire.



Doom delivers the presents to the Avengers and discovers that they have gotten presents for Ultron, Immortus and Kang. Doom is miffed that the Fantastic Four have never given him anything.

Santa Doom goes to visit the Fantastic Four next but they assume the worst and start a fight. Soon the Avengers get involved.

I'm reminded of the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas special from the 80s, in which Skeletor finds himself overcome with the Yuletide spirit. Good times, good times.

I recently read that Santa Claus in Marvel-616 was the most powerful mutant ever detected by Cerebro.

I really hope he survived post-Secret Wars, and the conclusion to the new virus mutants are facing is a triumphant Santa Claus using his Christmas magic mutant powers to save them all.
