This version of the Punisher is about as realistic as Rambo, especially given that later we see him firing an M60 one-handed, and Frank has to be pushing 60 years of age or so.

I've always been a little unclear on whether the Marvel Knights version of Frank Castle is actually supposed to be the same as the later MAX version. I mean, obviously Ennis was following up in a lot of ways, but Welcome Back Frank references Angel Punisher and even features an appearance from Daredevil, while the MAX stuff eschews virtually all elements of the Marvel U.

I suppose that it's always possible I'm thinking about this too hard.

Have to say, Frank, I'm not sure pitching a criminal dwarf off a skyscraper has ever been considered a sane and rational act by anyone.

I mean, even most of the killers, rapists, psychos and perverts you're sending a message to would go "Whoa, that's a little bit fucked up, Frank."

Re: The whole "I saw heaven" thing, its sometimes struck me what a great fir Frank is for Valhalla. Potential for some embarrassment for Thor there methinks.
