Vril Dox.

Don't ask me what he's doing there, I don't know.

Viril Dox...one of the descendants of Brainiac...so they completely lost the point of that character.

Actually, I meant the Post-Crisis Brainiac his own bad self.

"This man is more evil than anything I ever faced-" Clark, just stop. Please. You're my Superman, please don't run a secret prison you lock people away in. You're better than that... sigh.

Did the third issue of this series really just jump ahead to Superman having already preemptively captured a bunch of his classic enemies and put them in his creepy basement prison? That seems... abrupt.

I'm hesitant to really be negative since I'm only seeing bits posted here, but it seems like a strange move for the series.

It did. Clarks gone creepy extreme on us. Which was a risk back in the old days, but the writers usually got slapped upside the head for it.

This is something a "time-lost" or "transferred to an alternate Earth" Bruce Wayne would do. "I'll lock up Harvey Dent, Harlene Quinzel, Victor Fries and Jack Napier (which might be the Joker's real name because why not?) before they go crazy. What could go wrong?"

Still a bit puzzled how Nu52 Kyle Rayner was a Green Lantern if Coast City never blew up, but if they don't care then I don't care.

Hank Henshaw was only there because he was hurt in the crash, and Clark had some kind of medical facility set up. I don't think he literally was holding him prisoner.

This. Supey saw the headlines and thought, "Oh gee. I don't want another Coast City in this universe." So he went out to save the shuttle. Sad thing is, it seems no matter what everyone but Hank still died.

But Hank hasn't gone into full Cyborg Superman so Superman actually had him in the medical wing of this fortress.

I'm kind of curious where Jurgens will go with this.
