Some more images of Gal Gadot from the forthcoming (2017( Wonder Woman movie have started to crop up

Fighting for her rights... but I don't think satin tights feature, unless she likes wearing them of course, in which case, more power to her.
First up is this image from the movies Wonder Woman movie Twitter page

Wow!
And some shots from her time with, I presume, the Women's Suffrage movement early in the 20th century (I'm no expert on fashions so wouldn't like to say for sure which decade based on what they are wearing, but I suspect it might be somewhere in the first couple of decades)

But wait, there's more! :)

Date: 2016-01-19 08:46 pm (UTC)I don't know anything about Gal Godot, but I'm completely willing to give her benefit of the doubt, and the brief glimpses I saw of her in the BvS trailer was probably my favourite part. The WW1 setting is also interesting, and I hope they capitalise on that and do some unique things with it. I know traditionally it's WW2 for Diana, but WW1 is more unique and is a better source for hope in the dreary and depressing world of the trenches.
Wow, this turned into a really long rant about the Wonder Woman movie. Basically I'm excited. I have some mild reservations and hesitations (I know it's current, but her origin being demi-god of Zeus still bugs me), but still excited.

Date: 2016-01-20 12:13 pm (UTC)A worry about her acting would be true of any actor in their first lead role, no? I don't think I've seen Gal Gadot in anything (Or not consciously) so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Date: 2016-01-20 03:49 pm (UTC)Also a little excited about her movie coming out in 2017. I prefer a World War II setting for her but can work with World War I. I am curious as to how they are going to use Steve Trevor. If he's old enough to fight in World War I, he'll be around in World War II, but he'll be awfully old in 2017. Will he be a fond memory for Diana by then? Guess we'll have to wait and see! :)
How karmic would it be if the Wonder Woman movie did better than Batman vs. Superman? She never got a movie of her own while her colleagues did for decades. It would just amuse me to no end if DC was carried by the Amazing Amazon! :)
