3 ish pages of Kanan #10
Jan. 30th, 2016 09:43 pmThree-ish pages of Kanan the Last Padawan #10 plus spoilers for the most recent Rebels episode, "The Protector of Concord Dawn"
Caleb, his master, and the two Clone troopers are cut off on a landing platform tower with battle droids scaling the tower on mass to get them.

Yay Skull Squadron! Is that a deliberate Macross/Robotech shout-out? I hope so.

Okay so the pilot here is the focus of the latest episode of Rebels. His Mandalorian outpost is working for the Empire, (but are not a part of them), and the Rebels come seeking to use his area as a hyperspace relay point. He severly wounds Hera, and the rest of the Rebels want his blood... especially their Mandalorian, Sabine, but Kanan remembers this day, and tries one more time to reach out for them. But in their discussion he gives off what I think is a rather bad-ass line...
"You gave me a chance to live, I'd like to return the favour."
This last bit from earlier in the comic (in the "present," of Rebels) is just because I love the series continual bashing of Storm Troopers...
