Yeah, they lost me on that last scan. Didn't buy the "Too big to fail" thing IRL, don't buy it here. Especially here were Sam personally knows guys rich enough cushion any blow actually holding these scumbags accountable would bring.

Of course, any "realism" is undercut by all these CEOs meeting together like that. Hell, releasing the fact that they were together would bring accusations of collusion and cries for investigation.

I like that Sam is being portrayed as more socially conscious than Steve, but they are hammering that in WAAAAY too hard.

It is hammering it home way too hard, but it's so comic book-y about it that I can't be mad at it. It's a giant wolfman-Captain America sticking it to the evil one percent that is headed by a guy in a literal snake suit.

It's like Steve punching Hitler cranked up to 100...and also he's a wolfman.

Why is Sam a wolfman again?

Would that apply if the information was leaked to the general public? It would still be obtained illegally of course, but the authorities wouldn't have done themselves.

Wouldn't apply. Fruit of the poison tree only applies to law enforcement.

Which isn't to say that Whisper wouldn't be charged, but the cops could still use the evidence.

I think "Law and the Multiverse" answered this question using Batman. Essentially: No. any leaked information or tip delivered to the police by a third party is 100% valid evidence (assuming it is true and solid) regardless of the means by which the independent party obtained said evidence.

To be precise, the tip and/or leaked info is considered legitimate grounds for investigation; anything found following up said tip is legal evidence.

Not necessarily, but the case can be made that wealth allows evil people to be *really* evil about it.

WTF! They are seriously, seriously just flat out saying Too Big To Fail/Too Big to Jail is fine?

No wonder Marvel's top Corporations are all evil as shit. Its literally the only way to compete. Assuming Steve actually bothered to investigate this stuff he would have arrested these asshole and trust the US of freaking A's economy and actual law abiding citizens to sort out the mess.

I cant fucking believe I am reading this shit in a "social conscious" Captain America book. fuck!

One of the biggest companies in the Marvel U is run by an actual freaking minotaur. These guys have to bring serious evil game just to avoid being swallowed up.

But yeah, really not digging the Too Big to Jail claim. I guess Sam's plan is to wean the country off of them slowly, and maybe make the ones he hasn't taken yet too afraid of their turn to pull this stuff again?

Wait... wasn't this almost EXACTLY what happen when Buck took the shield? Like Nazi Classics came back and there was like a huge following of them under a guise of a Third Party for the presidential election? Or at least in context how desperate and stupid America's.... voters? Business AHoles? I didn't really remember the whole story...

Either all, amazing how the Shield is passed around durning election time...

The dialogue becomes much more interesting if you assume that SamWolf sounds like Scooby Doo.
