So the Scott Summer's is a bad guy theme, but we not going to explain, theme is going on in not only one book, but two?

You know, if that was any other X-men girl..that scene would be heartwarming, but the history of Wolverine and Jean through comics, movies, and cartoons....just makes this so weird and creepy.

I give Bendis this, even though it was unfair to Scott, having that scene with teen Jean and Adult Scott, and Kitty being unfair, but justified freaked out was good message to fans to say"That's why".

Which he probably is...it's just those two characters and their normal selves character history through media, makes this interaction kind of weird.

I remember that scene. I never thought Kitty was being unfair as much as talking to the person who would listen. Kitty knows what teen girls are like.

If TeenJean decided that the time was right, and she might well have. Scott was a buffer, better-looking bad boy version of her crush, who had many year experience with her body and what she liked. Probably knew better than herself at that stage. If she had, shes going to care zilch about what her teacher thinks.

Kitty knew well that Scott was the only one there was any point in talking to.

Kinda weird that Storm is basically just saying the same stuff that Cyclops was saying before the timeskip and his supposed heel turn. Seems like we've gotten a lot of those speeches over the past few years, with predictably diminishing returns.

Yea, I caught that too. "We will fight for all mutants, but we will for you too," is precisely what Revolution!Cyclops made as his main talking point.

Why's it scary then and not-scary now?

also, a brainless clone of Scott? based on how they have been writing him of late, how can we tell that it isn't the real thing?

Storm has been having hallucinations of Xavier and has been having whole conversations with this hallucination.

It's being presented as if the pressures of leadership are getting to her, which makes no sense.

So what exactly did Scott do? Do we even know? Because his actions across Bendis' run were basically just a pretty flawed approach to protecting his own, and I didn't particularly see him doing anything wrong. Or is this meant to have happened in the six months or whatever between SW and ANAD Marvel?

Cyclops has been default "In the wrong" since Schism for no appreciable reason. I suspect that this whole thing is going to be revealed to be because he saved a kitten from a tree, delaying the Inhuman's royal procession through Westchester or something.

I think the hatred for Cyclops began in the All-New, All-Different eight months timeskip, as there are many mentions of him having done something terrible in relation to the Inhumans.

It's weird. Seems like Marvel is trying to make us not like Cyclops for some reason. Oddly enough, I already didn't like Cyclops before all of this (for various reasons), but now because of editorial's efforts, I actually feel sympathetic towards him.

Me, too! When people pile on, I tend to look at the one being dumped on and see if all the hate is justified. Sometimes it is, but a lot of the time it's just a mob mentality.
