scans_dailyI believe Espanol Bot was the one who originally posted this. I know it was posted a couple times on the original Scans Daily. So here again is when Kon met Cass.
From Superboy #85 most of the Cass appearances from the issue, though this entire issue was made of win. Due to page cuts being seven, this was painful. Cause almost every frigging page was just great fun. About the only negatives I can think of is Doctor Sin escaping and the way Cass looks when she's caught. But onto the fun, Kon is with Tim when they get the call from Oracle that Cass needs back-up.
Kon accidently make's the ghost thingies go boom (he dashes some of them with water thus chemical reaction and an amusing burnt up Kon wondering WTF!?). It is then Kon and Cass discover a clue while Tim is too busy talking to Batman. When he turns he finds his two comardes are gone.
They both get captured by the one behind these ghostly gangbangers, Doctor Sin. Who follows Classic Supervillain 101 by binding the two heroes up and leaving them in a death trap. There's a real great moment between Cass and Kon here that I had to leave out where she asks him to talk (Sin wanted Kon to confess any sins for extra enjoyment while watching them drown). This allows Cass to get focused enough to escape, which she does then freeing Kon and they both escape the death trap ready to payback Doctor Sin.. whose left the building. Instead, they're greeted by Batman and Robin. Let the Bat-Dickery ensue!
Ok after re-reading this I can't help but one thing. BRING THEM BACK TOGETHER DAMNIT DC! They where so darn cute together. They crashed and burned all too soon thanks to Bat-Dickery.
Honestly this was one of those comics when I saw posted on Scans Daily I just had to get. Wasn't disappointed at all with my purchase. Thanks Scans Daily :)
