Astro City's cover looks interesting. And how appropriate that there's another Jack-in-the-Box story about fathers and sons.

I kind of love how the Legends of the Future comic has literally only one character from the show and even that is a different incarnation of the character.

Um, so is David Walker just being replaced on Cyborg, at the climax of an arc no less?

I still can't get over how much Shaggy looks like a modernized silent movie villain.

So if Slade Wilson there is missing his right eye, why is he aiming with that side of his face?

Pfft. Might as well ask how he stays the greatest assassin alive with no depth perception!

A move of his head would allow his one eye to feed enough information enhanced brain to construct the 3-D view we need two eyes for?

Can't help with the aiming thing though, that is dumb.

Love the Astro City cover, very Ross does Ditko, which is as it should be.

Future Quest looks fun.

Sugar and Spike are grown ups? That'.... interesting... I guess.

Is this Jericho's first New52 appearance? Because I remember what godawful stuff they put Joey through pre New52 and I'm hoping that's at least changed enough so that Joey is a fundamentally gentle character rather than the slavering. psychopathic monster they turned him into.

Wiki says that he showed up in Deathstroke's previous series, where he possessed the rest of his family and was hellbent on killing his father. I think he may have gotten a redemptive arc after that, but it's a little unclear.

Shortest version on Joey's New 52 story thus far I can muster is in Slade's first New 52 series Joey shows up written and drawn by Rob Freaking Liefeld in a way that's Deathtrap him times 10 along with "controlling people via his mind" power change, accidentally killing his mother, threaten to kill Grant, and Slade killing him (impaled from the front this time along with Grant). The end of that series strongly suggested Joey survived in a way much like in the beginning of Johns' TT.

Now to Slade's New New 52 series it seems none of that happened. Really. Daniels straight up ignored it esp with Joey who is alive and him going on any killing spree isn't brought up. Of course poor guy's got another pointless (&gory) power change in making people's heads explode bc of course and still talks but actually shows compassion and refusing to hurt even his captors which DC's long refused to acknowledge about his character it sincerely astounded me. BUT now his father and sister never call him "Joey" only Jericho so that might be his real name now for all we know. Poor kid I hope at least Earth One works out...

ALSO, Rose might be the older sibling now....I have no idea why and makes as much sense as everything else that's happened to the Wilson kids.

Okay, Scooby Doo. Fine, whatever, "Thirteen Ghosts" was kind of end-of-the-universe as well, so this is familiar. But WHY IS VELMA A CHILD-SIZED PERSON?!
