Let's say that Palparepa took the cake during GGG's final arc, declaring himself a god... this was handled in a smart way by the art staff, giving him and his mecha a gradual redesign - making them progressively smoother, more streamlined, and ALL WHITE opposed to the hero's black, red, silver and gold.
GaoGaiGar as a whole is a rather interesting series, also because it pays homage to many Western comic tropes (Mamoru gets sent to Earth as an infant just like Superman, G-Stones draw upon willpower like Green Lantern rings). And it's arguably one of Gurren Lagann's spiritual precursors - not bad for something that was originally conceived as a kids' show and then gave us this:
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
