Nope, before Secret Wars, everybody got de-hulked except for She Hulk, Hulk, and Lyra. The previous writer before Secret Writers believed having too many Hulks made the Hulk not that special. Despite people liking the characters, and nobody really cared for them to be human.

There's an easy way around that: give them gamma powers that aren't "Hulks", like Harpy or the Leader.

And then post Secret Wars they gave Hulk powers to Amadeus Cho

So they gave up on that whole "we don't need so many extra Hulks" thing really quickly. It's not like we don't all know Banner will be Hulk again eventually

Marvel did not care about that at all. It was just the writer at the time, who was being ridiculous and wasted his story.

Even Skaar?

In one of the Secret Wars stories, he was a Hulk, but I don' t think he has appeared post secret wars. Though the way Doc Green treated him was disgusting when thinking of the story.

Doc Green un-Hulked pretty much all the gamma powered people except himself prior to Battleworld. So, unless the non-reboot rebooted that then no.

Lets hope that that really has been retconned then otherwise it was a DC level bonehead move.

I don't mind it too much with Skaar since writers can still potentially use him even without his gamma enchanced abilities. He's still half Sakaaran, he's still got the Oldstrong power, and he's still basically Conan the Barbarian.

It was depowering Betty and Thunderbolt Ross that bugged me because Red She-Hulk and Red Hulk since their stories as the Hulk's supporting cast are kinda played out, turning them into Hulks gave them new story opportunities.

I love the ending of this storyline.

On the one hand, this feels suspiciously like another "altered reality" story, in which case, YAWN

On the other, for some reason I always like to see Dr. Rappacini front and centre. She's a rare gem among female super villains.

It's been a while but I remember this being a real good story. Not so much altered reality as wishes coming alive in the 616 reality. Lots of fun reunions and brawling. :D

This is a rare story that not only tied up everything in the author's run nicely but also felt like a good ending for the character as a whole.

Since the Hulk's story since Pak's run has been full of false starts, plot holes, and dangling ends, I've pretty much considered this story to be the end of "my" Hulk, and it's very satisfying.
