I don't even know what to make of this.
Though I could have certainly done without using rape as a threat.

I read "having our way with them" as "let's take turns beating the crap out of them with our powers and weapons."

Don't disillusion me. :)

And how awesome is Knockout's costume? Individually armored dreads... :)

Wow, this doesn't read like a femdom fetish story AT ALL...

Did Thor and Loki get gender-bent before this or after? Because this seems like around the time Marvel would be doing stuff like that.

This was written in the 90's?! How the fuck... This is the kind of crap a Silver Age writer would write to make fun of them kooky feminists.

In fairness, this Cap dealt with extremists, left (Flag Smasher) and right (Watch Dogs), center (Resistance/mutants) all the time.

Flag-Smasher's an anarchist, with the whole no nations thing, their ideals aren't really that leftist.

I don't know, this seems pretty 90's to me. The pop culture that I remember had an epic love affair with strawwomen "feminists".

Holy hell, that's Screaming Mimi. I forgot how terrible of a character she was in the pre-Songbird days.

The Venus symbol on Superia's torso, I get.

The inverted Mars symbols on her legs, I'm curious about.

(Then there's the lines at the start of her legs, which create a combination. That raises another question and possibly illustrates the dangers of false positives in pattern recognition.)

Am I the only one who thought, "Death by Snu-Snu!"? I'm also wondering if this is where Alan Moore got a similar idea (a women-only society that could turn men into women) for his ABCverse.

Thank God they downplayed the "Superia the Ultra-Feminist Straw Woman" in later books.

Honestly, she seems the like the kind of villain that could be reinvented as a Carol Danvers villain or something.

This feels much more 80s than 90s, IMHO. Being from 1991, I guess it's got a foot in both worlds.

Fun thing about Mark Gruenwald is how many minor characters he would pack into these things. Looking at the Marvel wikia and seeing many issues (not just this particular storyline) where he would routinely have something like two dozen bushleaguers on hand. Which is kind of fun, I have to admit.
