“Though you sail for a thousand years, you may not reach the land you seek”… see, that's what happens when you don't word things correctly . Why not say instead: "though you sail for eternity and a day"...

And even that would probably end with a very perplexed Eternity being attacked by undead Vikings.

Dr. Strange does mention the shaman is an incompetent.

To be fair, he did get shot before he finished the curse.

Looks interesting. Ennis is usually quite good at war stories :)

"Turn them into immortal monsters" sure is a popular curse, it pops up all the time in fiction. But while it's certainly a horrible fate for the cursee, it also turns them into a massive pain in the butt for other people. Be more responsible with your cursed magic of doom!

Yeah, I wish more dying shamans would curse their enemies to be extremely mortal. "Though you sail for one day, you'll still contract the plague by day's end! Then you have about a week of laying around before you die of thirst. I'm good with that."

My first thought was that if there was any character who wouldn't benefit from the MAXXX imprint, it would be Thor. But this is pretty good!

"Jaekelsson", or "Jækelssøn" does not actually mean jackals son. That is a false cognate, I doubt there even was a Norse word for jackal.

It does however, have a very specific meaning. It means "devils son"

Guy even looks vaguely like Mephisto.
