I still think the friction between Kamala and Sam feels overly manufactured, but I dig the contrast and relationship between the older and younger members.

Also, it's really weird seeing Kamala's supporting cast not drawn in her book's style.

He really seems to be the cockroach of cosmics. He just got through being stepped on by Thanos and having his rebirth creche destroyed by the new Living Tribunal (well, he wasn't the LT at the time yet). And here he is again.

I'm fine with that. He's easily one of the more interesting 'space' villains, to me. Definitely moreso than Thanos.. Although the fact that we'll likely never see Annihilus overexposed to hell in the movies probably helps.

Well, this death was pretty definite so you'd have expected it to last more tham a publication eyeblink.

And Annihilation was a good event, but Annihilus himself? Other than that one Exiles story, where he really wasn't Annihilus yet, he's always seemed pretty one note character to me.

Nothin' wrong with being one note.
Sometimes you want a villain who's one note, and just wants to destroy the world because they're in a bad mood.

(And his hammery in Annihilation was kind of memorable.)

That might be, though I personally prefer my villains at least two note, but they are hardly ever interesting in themselves.

Strange how the sentence "Some Avengers have school on Monday morning," is viewed as cute rather than absurdly, blatantly problematic.

Here's hoping the Avengers never run in to a real bad person while they're running around with 13 year olds in tow.

To be fair, I think Sam, Kamala, and Miles are all like 15-16.

Which is still problematic, but no worse than, say, the Teen Titans ever were.

So wait, we have two Sams on the same team? Aren't there rules of writing that this violates? Because that's kinda confusing.

Have they acknowledged it, at least?

And as long as I'm nitpicking, shouldn't it be "diffusing" a bomb?

Anyway, kinda like this "Avengers on a budget" thing.
