But Bendis seems to have a... special relationship, with heroes and killing. Considering he added Wolverine (and later Ares) to the Avengers specifically to have someone who could do the dirty work if need be.
You know... I had wanted to check this out and hoped it'd succeed where the previous series failed..... and I come to see heroes being douchebags again.. to the Hulk...AGAIN... and then killing him... for fucking what?
Because of something he might have done to them - with no real fact-checking behind the murder, by the by.
At least the original event had the heroes divided by their notion of what made the world a safer place. This time, these guys aren't even fighting to save the world - they're murdering an innocent man in order to protect themselves.
Okay, not all of them are there to commit murder. But they are showing up on his doorstep with weapons of war and preparing for a fight...which is remarkably dumb, considering who Banner is. If you're worried that the Hulk might flip out and kill everybody, you send him flowers and chocolates, not fighter jets.
