So the soldier thought that superpowered being just killed all of my fellow comrades viciously (under mindcontrol) and I barely escaped getting killed. Clearly the best course of action is to get revenge and kill his parents, making him more angry instead of just leaving town and never looking back.

Yep, he walked straight into that death with arms wide opened.

Considering Nu52, it wasn't Synergy that dictated it. if anything, it was what gave us a Waller closer to the classic one.

Nu52 was attempting to sync with the existing live-action version of Waller at the time-- the one on Arrow played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson.

Cynthia's Amanda Waller originally appeared on-screen in 2013. Amanda Waller, The Super Model, first appeared in the comics in 2011.
I have problems with Arrow. but Svelte Waller was pre-arrow.

The movie bombed BADLY and EVERYONE knew it was a laughstock by the time Nu52 was launched (not to mention Nu52 waller did not try to look like Angela basset's Waller, who still retained aspects of classic waller that were lost in theNu52 waller)

I think one thing is clear after this story. Waller is going to learn the hard way that antagonazing Batman is a really bad idea and I am actually really looking forward to it.

The next arc after this looks like a team up with the Suicide Squad and I quote from DC:

“I Am Suicide” part one! Batman has always been crazy…but this? This is suicide! In order to retrieve Psycho-Pirate and save Gotham Girl, Batman must recruit a team from Amanda Waller to break into the most impenetrable prison in the world and steal from one of the Dark Knight’s greatest foes…Bane. I just realized something in an episode from Spectacular Spider-Man, Tombstone is helping Spider-man find a bomb in ballroom, his response: "My party my mess."

So yeah Tombstone has more morality than Amanda when it comes to creating a mess.

I love that Gotham's breaking involved a master manipulator and his apt tool; it wasn't just " Gotham is a stygian hopeless hellhole and nothing good in it can stay because realism means outright cynicism, right? " tedium.

(That is there in this, but it's a mood and not a fact.)
