Okay, killing Boomerang is a gutsy move, though I have no confidence it will stick. (Is the Suicide Squad still cloning members? I vaguely recall that was a thing)

Zod definitely seems outside this bunche's punching class.

I think it was an unstable resurrection/regeneration serum - that way Waller can blow a Squadster's head off when compromised, ship the bodies back to the States, then resurrect them for Round ∞. Bingo-bango.

I get that what with the movie being out has to give the Suicide Squad a big push, but it still seems like being a big tentpole series drawn by Jim Lee is antithetical to the core concept of the Suicide Squad.
