Webcomic: Star Power
Sep. 17th, 2016 07:55 amI want to share this awesome webcomic I've been following for a while, Star Power, written by Michael "Mookie" Terracciano (Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire) and with gorgeous art by Garth Graham (Comedity and Finder's Keepers)

Synopsis: "In the far future, a young astronomer on a distant space station is chosen to wield the Star Power. Now, as the last of the Star Powered Sentinels, she must protect and explore a galaxy far more dangerous and wondrous than she could have ever imagined."
Comic updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and about 15 issues are available to read on the site for those who want to binge.
Our story starts with Danica Maris, lab assistant on the space station Sanctuary Six.

Danica is hit by a bright beam of white light. When she wakes up, she's a little…different.

But she barely has time to figure out what happened when the space station is attacked by mercenaries called Void Angels.

Space battle! Danica uses her new light manipulation powers to damage the Void Angels's ships and they flee.

After she returns to the space station, Danica and her bosses try to figure out what's going on. She activates a sort of A.I companion, who gives her a little info dump.

And that's all I'm posting for now. I hope you'll check out the rest of Danica/Star Power's adventures.

The 'dark star power' bit later on is great too.
