This is just... weird.

Saying "No one is this bland" to a kid's parents must be one of the most throughlessly rudest things one can do, especially when the kid is missing. You may find him bland Jessica, but keep your opinions to yourseld.

"Even a few dyslexics... and a lefty" - I don't even know if that's suppose to refer to left-handedness or their political affiliation.

Plus the whole story just ends with her finding his porn stash as if its some kind of super significant part of his identity. If anything the only reason that makes him "not bland" is that it was made up of actual magazines and pin-ups, as if any teenager has those any more...

Be fair- being kind about Ulysses would require anyone in Civil War II to think of him as a person and not the user interface for a prediction machine.

Even the plot doesn't seem to be doing that.
