Did'nt Ms marvel used to be fun?

Why are they making comics bad?

Ms.Marvel has dealt with serious issues before and it's certainly isn't bad.

Maybe Kamala is going to learn the price of being a hero: all your friends will hate you. That's how it is for Marvel Heroes, at least.

because I am guessing he is hoping that knowing they are being monitored means they will not abuse their power. It's Lacan's Panopticon.

I think it's less about giving the Americops fair warning and more about telling the people he's on the case.

Because knowing they're being watched might stop at least some of them from hurting innocent people.

I love that the Red Skull isn't the first person to directly talk about living person Ulysses as just an asset/detriment to his ends- he's the first bad guy to do so.

Steve is honestly amazing as a villain. He framed Banner with gamma research, convinced US Agent to go with the give back the shield group while also planning a coup against the Red Skull to make Hydra great again.

So Ms.Greene is innocent? Which means Ulysses was dead wrong about this.

Also, why would Banner need to research a cure? He was cured by this point anyway.

Well Cho got hulked up in the process of curing Banner so it makes sense that he'd still have some interest in a real cure.

Doesn't he already have one from when he was Doc Green? Or did that not work on himself, I forget?

Only on him, because he used his own blood or some such. Which makes me question why the cure worked on Skaar.

Speaking of which, that story also had Doc Green and Banner create something that could kill them and they gave it to She-Hulk because she's the only one they could trust it with.

I wonder what made Banner change his mind and gave the newer model to Clint.

I know, my point being it probably shouldn't have worked on Skaar because he's his son.

I think I'm missing something. You said it worked only on him, so wouldn't the blood relation make it more likely to work on Skaar than the rest of the gamma enhanced people?

He used his blood for the cure, it's why Doc Green said it wouldn't work on himself. By that logic, it shouldn't work on his kids either.

So Doc Green and Banner gave She-Hulk (then Clint) a weapon to stop the Hulk if he went out-of-control (like Situation Normal), just like Clark gave Bruce the engagement Green K ring to Bruce.

Or he wasn't and it's just that Steve doesn't know about that particular HYDRA plan, it's not like they're not used to different HYDRA groups implementing different missions.

Except the only one active is Red Skull's Hydra. Which is why Steve checked with Skull to be sure.

And as Jessica Drew and Amadeus Cho pointed out, the fact that Clint could kill Banner at all proves he was cured.

Especially if one accounts for the Captain Marvel issue where she specifically defends her predictive justice implementation with some of the various ways in which she's tried to account for the possible pitfalls in the how of Ulysses' visions.

On the one hand, Steve's book makes a lot of things suddenly make at least a little more sense. It's a clever bit of recontextualization.

On the other hand, a major revelation like that should really have happened in the event book, not a tie-in (though given the latest vision, there's at least a small chance that it will get referenced).

I though Falcon/Captain America could already see through the eyes of various birds, as established back in the first volume of Ewing's Mighty Avengers run.

What's the context for that Ms. Marvel scene? I don't think YA series need to be all happy all the time, so I actually kind of like it. Stories need some contrast in terms of tone to keep from being pure fluff.

He could already see through birds' eyes (I think Geoff Johns was the first to make that explicit, back in his Avengers run, but I'm not sure) but now it's being digitally recorded as well.

Bruno there got severely injured, with above-mentioned consequences, trying to break his friend out of one of Captain Marvel's pre-crime holding facilities. This particular division was ostensibly being commanded by Kamala. Bruno tried to point out to Kamala that Captain Marvel's whole "arrest people for stuff they might have considered doing because Ulysses said so" plan is morally questionable, at best, and nobody should be arresting people that haven't even tried to do anything bad. Kamala chose to disregard him and back Carol's decisions, at least until later after Bruno got hurt and the Carol Cadets went full Nazi. So Bruno attempted to do what he believed to be the right thing himself, got hurt, and thus the above scene happens.
