Some thoughts on some recent comics

The Ultimates #11, be Al Ewing, Kenneth Rocafort, and Djribril Morissette. Okay, what's the deal with Starlin's most recent Thanos stuff, THE INFINITY RELATIVITY and FINALE and all that books? As far as I know they're meant to be in continuity, but has even a single one of their major status-quo shaking developments been acknowledged *anywhere*?
Deathstroke #3, by Priest and Joe Bennett. This might be my favorite DC Universe book right now. I’m normally not big on down-to-Earth, gritty superhero fare – the kind that’s only one step removed from crime fiction, the typical Batman milieu. I like my cap fiction impossible. But Priest always makes the “realistic” stuff feel as weird, woolly, and wider-than-life as any pseudo-science spectacle, with stuff like the elderly granny crime boss this issue.

Plus, it's not like she has a choice in this scenario, she has to make sure he doesn't escape.
