They met Peter while robbing a bank post-Ultimatum. Lana got arrested, banished to a high school in Queens, Peter made nice with her...
Peter dies, a year or so later Lana meets Miles when she gets attacked by Cloak and Dagger for reasons.
Stuff with Roxxon happens, she helps form the New Ultimates, and when the Ultimate universe went all kabloeey she wound up in the regular universe.
And hey, when all you have is explosion powers...
