... okay, well, that explains that one at least. Good on the writer for fixing that plothole before this trainwreck gets canned.

Characterization is still a bit crazy, and the art is way too Image-Extreme, but this helps.

This artwork looks OK. It's amazing how better this book seems with a quality artist on it.

I feel the primary reason it wasn't very successful is the Liefieldian art it was stuck with.

Stylization is not the problem. The style itself is something I simply do not like. The regular artist on this title is sketchy, over-proportioned, and overall ugly because of those to things. And therefor, I find it unappealing.

Since this is supposed to be a 'gritty' story, you'd think it would compliment the story. But it really hasn't been that gritty, so it serves more of a distraction for me.

Yeah, Stuart Immonen's art is very stylized these days but I doubt you'll find many people complaining about it not being good.

Okay, did Abe and Erik take stupid pills? Leaving Kobik alone with Karla and Norbert is a flat out terrible idea. Being in the same room as Karla is a bad idea.

Given the way their beer run went, I'd say they definitely went for stupid pills. Sigh.

They're all way too chummy with Karla. She's the super-villain other super-villains don't trust. She shouldn't be allowed to be on the same continent as a living mcguffin.

To be allowed into this series they were required to get implanted with subcutaneous stupid capsules. All the stupid and none of the inconvenience of having to remember to take them.
