Y'know, I admire Slade for his newfound dedication to disguising himself - even Matches Malone looked lean as hell. I hope this disguise stuff ends up being a thing.

It's amazing what good writing can do for a character. I haven't had any interest in Slade since Identity Crisis - after which they just seemed to keep on racking things up to put him on par with the major supervillains of the DCU - but this is actually really decent character stuff. Makes me understand why people like the character way more than the latest round of 'what a big badass you are' in the past ten years.
