Red Turtleneck

Time for more Junji Ito. Warning for gore.
The story opens with Tomio wandering through the streets clutching his head. He goes to see his ex, Sonoka.
We flash back to...

Later on, he starts having an affair with the fortuneteller behind his girlfriend's back. When she finds out, she breaks up with him.
In bed together, the fortuneteller tells Tomio that she fell in love with him because of his head.

When the mark doesn't fade away, she gives him a red turtleneck to wear over it. She then takes him to see something "interesting" in her house:

He runs away from her but she tells him he can't escape.

Back in the present, Sonoka doesn't believe Tomio. He tells her to look at his wound.

She calls the ambulance but instead the fortuneteller shows up at the door.

While she does this, Sonoka takes a pair of scissors and jams it in the back of the fortuneteller's neck.

The fortuneteller's body begins to burn and dissolve, and in its place, three demonic children emerge.

Crying, Sonoka places Tomio's head back on his neck:
