They don't always get fridged, sometimes they just get quietly forgotten about by the new writer because they'd rather not deal with them. They get lost to continuity limbo with everyone uncertain of whether they exist post the next continuity reboot.

Silk herself is more likely to get fridged than them. Newer characters outrank the supporting casts of newer characters in the industry kill priority.

If only because it's easier to put the new characters in the background of a big fight scene that needs a few casualties to give it heft.

I'm glad that Cindy and Bobbi are on good terms again. I guess with the Black Cat moving over to being the antagonist of a Hellcat arc, that storyline was wrapped up.
