I believe they were originally an allegory for interracial dating during the Kree Skrull war. Pietro was so opposed to her sister dating Vish.

Oh, definitely. And there was no small amount of irony in Pietro--a former mutant rights radical terrorist, and someone who would eventually end up with an Inhuman wife--being such a dick about it.

Ditto on the allegory. As a little kid I identified with Vision and his outcast status. Still my fav. This is the best exploration of his potential since 'Ultimate Vision' on the '90's. I love that Viv is in Champions too!
