*sigh*...I really hope Mattie survives this debacle and comes back as a regular (or works with Jess Drew?). I miss her and her nutty legs.

I hope so too. We know the Prowler will be sticking around after the storyline is over, so that means at least some of the 'clones' will be staying.

We don't know that exactly. We don't know what his status will be post Clone Conspiracy.

He has an ongoing series, and the writers have talked about their plans after the clone conspiracy storyline is over.

Very vaguely, so it could mean anything. It could be someone new using the mantle after the event or the original comes back somehow.

My point is, we don't know for sure how this ends, so we shouldn't get out hopes up. Because i'm sure most of the New U clones won't be sticking around.

Speaking of, this isn't even the real Mattie.

Not too vaguely, we know it's still Hobie, and saying "Prowler will continue to be figuring out who he is and what he truly wants" makes it sound like he's continuing the story of the guy currently appearing in the title, and not replacing him with another version.

and yes it's a clone of Mattie, but if she thinks like Mattie and acts like Mattie it's better than nothing.

I think this storyline will be similar to Necrosha, where most of the characters went back to being dead but a few like Doug and Blink stuck around.

It's a temporary outfit because she's in the west coast and is worried about her secret identity being exposed if Silk and Cindy both show up in a new place at the same time.

Oh. Glad it's just a temporary thing. The red ninja mask is more badass than the domino she's got on now. Though it does make snacking between beating down baddies more convenient I suppose.
