I'm pretty if it came to this Clark would have a way of keeping his facial muscles contorted to look slightly different from his alter ego. Probably already does, that's why the glasses work.

Heh. Hey, has there been a Zuck-type villain who uses social media to suss out hero identities? Sure it'll end up being horribly dated years later, so the concept's just good for a one-shot, but y'know.

The pre-Flashpoint Supergirl series' penultimate arc's villain was almost that- he built an app that crowdsourced tracking superheroes, which he used for bad " sic villains on heroes " purposes.

(Dude was named Alexander and had a little bit of an Eisenberg thing going for him. It would've turned out that he was a Luthor-Brainiac hybrid clone, with the climax taking place at the app's launch party.

Editorial nixed that, though, so he was reworked into an evil Dubbilex clone and the app was more of an initial plot beat.)
