Date: 2016-11-29 02:49 pm (UTC)I just look at the recent solicitation for February and honestly, nothing sounds all that appealing besides the usual three books for me Revival, Southern Bastards, and Manifest Destiny. Nothing the company is putting out sounds all that interesting or all that unique. They all blur together with the same damn super serious tone with no sense of joy, hope, fun, or any upbeatness. It's like besides Sex Criminals, which is just not funny to me and I hate the characters, no one can tell a story over there that has a tone that's not dreary or serious. It makes everything blur together and they are just not offering anything that screams must read anymore.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like Image is just not too hot at the moment.
