I have to give credit to bencio127 posting this way back all the way in 2009. This was first published in 'Batman Adventures' #3.

Joker has been rehabilitated by Arkham and Harley isn't happy.









Harley hires an assassin to kill Joker as a way to snap him out of his funk.



Batman arrives and rescues the Joker.







Batman fires the arrow at the tank, enveloping Harley and her puddin' in actual pudding.

I can only see about half the scans here, but this was a great one. Ty Templeton just kept adding flourishes: "...LORD knows I've TRIED!" and the delivery of Joker's "Hon...?" were standouts.

As for the story itself...like many Joker/Harley tales, it's quite funny (I especially giggled at the last panel in which Joker looks like a slice of pizza), but has a sad undercurrent that's hard to ignore. Although ostensibly the point is that Harley loves Mistah J only when he's breaking the law and murderously obsessed with Batman, it's also clear that she only loves him when he's (at best) dismissive of her, when he rejects her affection--i.e., when he's his usual, abusive self.
