Well, that was a completely unexpected turn of events that no one could ever have foreseen coming... oh wait, no... what's the EXACT opposite of that? ;)

Waller MUST have a contingency plan in place for this sort of situation, or else it wouldn't be called "The Suicide Squad". I'm hoping it's something sneaky, ruthless and worthy of The Wall.

Yeah, that's what bothers me about the Squad, and their token heroes. Something goes wrong, and they don't have enough muscle to put their loose cannons back in their place.

The first SS had plenty of heroes on it, to keep the scumbags in line. These scans show why that was a perfectly logical thing to do

She does. It's ruthless, certainly...and...well, I'm not sure 'sneaky' is really the best word, but certainly underhanded.

She offers Lobo extra money to kill Cyclotron, who she put on the team for just that reason, causing him to explode, take out half the city, and the Squad (who she intended to kill, but that didn't work out).

This story is set before she started doing that (this group is the villains in the JLvsSS mini). In fact, this mission going massively bad is what inspired her to start doing it.
