Yeah, but so far he hasn't been particularly evil... in fact, so far there doesn't seem to be any trace of evil at all.
If anything, he seems to be conflicted about the whole thing.

This also presents a problem with CW2 and making broken friendships be a big consequence- if you haven't made that very solid, a lot of those friendships get repaired *really* fast by writers who think the characters have better sense of priority.

Spider Woman and Carol, Miss America and Carol...

I admit, I've not read more than a fraction of their appearances... but I don't recall Order and Chaos being this, ah, nasty or dogmatic before. My recollection is that they've always been among the more benevolent of the cosmic/conceptual beings.

Anyway, this all started because they weren't happy with Galactus being the Lifebringer and they went down the slippery slope.

In the old universe they seemed fairly content with their lot, but with a new universe, there are new opportunities for advancement.

Well, given the cosmic balance is out of whack, it is possible that's messing with Order (y'know, the atavistic representation of order) more than a protractor being misaligned.

Either that or the Terrible, Unknowable Thing Beyond All Existence is messing with everything to make them go nuts.
It imprisoned Eternity and it's drained love, life and sanity from everything. Driving a pair of floating heads mad is probably easy street after that.

Yep. What's interesting to me is that I'd thought that alternate universe Glorian made with the Shaper's power might be a candidate for what's imprisoning Eternity, what with having been made moot by the multiversal reboot. Seems like the Shaper's ghost would know if that were the case, though.

Maybe not. The Shaper's ghost is just an echo, a memory given form, it's not the Shaper anymore. It's already given the exposition it can.

(And I have this horrible feeling Ultimate Reed Richards is involved in all this somehow, given the talk of "One Who Is One".)

Oh, I hope not. I was already less than thrilled by Eternity going from a big metaphysical truth/secret that was the province of retired sorcerer supremes to something that every cape and his dog is aware of. Having Jesse EisenbergUltimate Reed Richards whip up some pocket gadget in his spare time to imprison and torture the higher dimensional symbolic representation of life throughout the multiverse is a bridge too far.
