Jesus storm.... I hate how event comics are inconsistent with characterization....like, storm would have never neglected that dying mutant, or treated Forge like this... going to war be damned.

I always got the sense Forge's mutant power was pulling impossible tech out of his ass, not being better than Tony Stark or Reed Richards combined. Like, literally, he either makes nothing but Black Boxes or is himself a living Black Box. And if he dies, or you take the tech away from him for too long, it stops working.

I'm glad that they're using Forge again, but did they have to make him look so much like a chicano Tony Stark in this?

I remember reading Forge's entry in the deluxe Official Handbook and just being like "...what?" Same with Cypher's, really. Trying to come up with a logical explanation for how either of their powers worked seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

I like the idea upthread that he just literallly invents stuff that shouldn't work and only does when he's around.
