The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: About a Boy

Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning did a few 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' comics for Wildstorm (I posted one last year for Halloween). As a fan of the franchise, it's my opinion that they 'got' the series and Leatherface to the point that it genuinely makes me sad that they couldn't have been on board for any of the recent films.
'About a Boy' was a one-shot focusing on Leatherface as a teenager. I remember being disappointed how the 2005 prequel completely skipped over Leatherface's early years. Abnett and Lanning's comic is exactly what should have been in the film.
Warning for gore and violence.

Thomas knocks the bully out with a rock. When he wakes up, he's tied to an old bed in an abandoned farmhouse.

I really loved the idea of 'proto-Leatherface' here.
Thomas's uncle Charlie (who will later become the town 'sheriff') shows up after hearing noises.
