This book continues to be one hell of a lot of fun.  In this issue, Nadia goes around with Jarvis as her chaperone, looking for other highly intelligent girls she's identified.  Along the way, she drops hints of something.




She doesn't get a chance to elaborate on that thought, but I think the implication here is pretty strong that Nadia is not straight.  Whether she's a lesbian, asexual, or whether she identifies herself in some other fashion is not said.

That's extremely good as well. If I weren't still learning my scanner (see the duplicated panels above), I'd have included a couple more notable quotables.

I want to see a three way team up between Nadia, Doreen, and Patsy. The three most fun books out right now.

Certainly lots of possibilities, especially as she doesn't get to finish her thought. Just trying to read between the lines (and possibly veering into oncoming traffic instead).

Well, if she is Hank Pym's daughter, avoiding romance of any kind would probably be the safest bet for her.

You are not wrong. Though I think Hank's batting average in that regard is still below Matt Murdock's.

I don't know about that, i think Bruce Banner has Matt beat in that category.

I think there's something more tragic about Matt in that I almost feel he tends to cause or provoke a lot of the situations he's in, or just makes outright horrible (albeit human choices). It's maybe a bit of a weird example, but I was outright horrified by his choice regarding Karen at the end of Netflix!DD season 2.

His choice to tell Karen? I thought that was one of the smartest choices he'd made all season. O_o

See, after he basically declared he'd give up his life in New York for Elektra, to be with her as Daredevil because she and only she knew all of him, and then she got killed? I just thought it was a really awful choice, frankly. Yes, it explains why he's been sketchy as hell the past few weeks, but at the same time, he KNOWS what the burden of knowledge has done to his relationship with Foggy. So I just thought it was a really dubious, unfair decision to just thrust 'I'm Daredevil' on her.

Lots of reasons he could have had one. He was older, and maybe he simply felt uncomfortable having only a cell phone, or he used it for a security system of some sort, or he wanted a number where he could get messages no matter what, or some other reason.

I'm just saying that the guy who invented Ultron and the Infinite Mansion probably set up the Avengers with some sweet holographic videophones

Hank strikes me as the type to have just plain forgotten he had one, being so busy with SCIENCE! Who knows how old that message is?

I love this book, even if I feel several decades too old for it. It's very charming.

I really love the positivity books like this, Squirrel Girl, and Patsy Walker aka Hellcat are bringing to the medium.

Definitely. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is like that too, right? Ms Marvel was the first one in this kind of new genre I saw.

That's actually not one I'm reading, but Moon Girl's appearances in other books certainly suggests to me that it is.
