Ugh. After Man of Steel, I swore off this crop of DC movies. Haven't seen BvS or Suicide Squad. I won't see Wonder Woman. I don't see any reason to break that streak.

Also, who the hell thought a bad Come Together cover was a good idea?

Snyder probably thought the music choices were a good idea. This is Mr 'Let's put Hallelujah on when Nite-Owl and Silk Spectre get it on' and Mr 'Let's put an eerie cover of Sweet Dreams over the opening of Sucker Punch', after all. I'm stunned he hasn't gone for the old trick of 'put some dark and depressing footage to the tune of What A Wonderful World''.

Playing a iconic pop song over a trailer for a superhero movie....

Well, if you plan to do this. Then look at GOTG I and II and see why it works...when using a song that fits. But this......JESUS CHRIST!!

I don't normally watch trailers because I'm spoilerphobic as hell, but I watched this one because I'm desperate for hints that it won't suck. I loathed both MoS and BvsS, but that's not really a tragedy because Hollywood will keep making Superman and Batman movies forever and ever amen. But if Wonder Woman and the Justice League movies fail, it could be decades until we get to see those characters again D:

The trailer looks decent. I'm slightly reassured.

Oh, goddamit. Do not give me a montage of cool action bits and a few mildly humorous character interactions, and set it against an awesome classic rock song because you will fucking get my hopes up.

I mean... DAMMIT. I can't afford to have hope for DC movies. I'm fragile and have been burned too many times.

Although... I am intrigued. Aquaman looks rather badass, Wonder Woman is good, and Cyborg has... promise? I suppose? But I can't take Batfleck seriously when he's running around NOT IN THE BATSUIT like secret identity whaaa?

Based on that trailer, I think there is a relatviely fair argument to be made that at least the actors seem to be all in and seem to be having a lot of fun. Also I can't believe that they finally brought Batman's superpower joke here.

I'm actually really looking forward to the team interactions. This trailer also kind of reminds of a sad truth. So I love both MoS and BvS, but realize the mixed reactions to both. However, there is a tragedy to that as to me Snyder is probably the best superpower fight director working. He just manages to make them feel epic in a way.

Yeah, he manages to make things look kinda epic, but it's so cast against dreary as fuck blue-black-grey backdrops where everything looks completely washed out, so.. Kind-of 'eh'. It worked in 300 where everything was brassy and steel and they actually flat-out stole Miller's compositions and the like, but.. He's not gotten better since.

I don't know, I'll give him MoS, but in BvS the only fights I really liked were Batman vs. MARTHA's kidnappers and Wonder Woman vs. Doomsday.

And people laughed when I said the whole reason Cyborg was made a founding Justice Leaguer was because they wanted a DC Iron Man.

Given this is all happening after Superman's "death," wouldn't Steel have been a better choice for that since he pretty much IS DC's Iron Man?

The trailer looks amazing, and it's got me pumped. Then again, so did the trailer for Suicide Squad.

At the risk of being handed a shiny blue ring, this doesn't look altogether terrible.

Maybe, just maybe, it's like one of those little restaurants where the starters were rubbish because it turns out the owner is a natural pastry chef, so the main course of Everyone Pie is going to be amazing.

Ah, tortuous food metaphors. I'm clearly par for my course :)
