Given how different those stories are, it's hard to compare their quality. The Deadpool story is, as the blogger says, a lengthy dramatized suicide prevention manual. The Superman story is a much briefer scene in a larger story of Superman doing as many good deeds as he can in preparation for his own imminent death. What makes the scene with Regan powerful is that Superman manages to save her in between saving the world in a dozen different ways, and he manages to connect with her emotionally despite his own fear and exhaustion.

I would note, too, that Superman isn't shown as instantly and single-handedly fixing all of Regan's problems. There are already ordinary people, like her doctor, who are working very hard to help her. Superman simply appears at that one critical moment when their efforts aren't quite enough to save her, and bridges the gap. What happens after that is up to her and her caregivers and loved ones.
