I don't understand why they're putting inhumans into camps while giving mutants a separatist nation. Surely it should be the other way around? The inhumans at least already have an existing governmental structure.

Sally Floyd was so perfect for this. On the surface everything she says is reasonable and she is clearly in the right, but trust in her as an arbiter of truth is so low due to past abuses that the Supreme Comander of Hydra seems just as reasonable.

Perfect analogy for our day...especially if Sally doesnt get what the problem is.

You know what would be a great thing for Sally to ask Cap Hydra on? His thoughts on the Nazis and the Holocaust. If he said Hydra would be victorious in WWII, the Nazis, which they are, would be victorious in turn as well. Would he be alright with that fact, that his group supported them and their genocidal madness? He would he have stopped them?

Did she or the comic ever address that area that this story seems to be glossing over? If Hydra would have truly won the war, why would America in turn support the Nazis and their allies? After all these years, why would most of the country turn around on Hydra Nazis? Is the comic even addressing this?! Trying to comprehend all of this is hurting my brain.

If I was in charge of "Hydras Side Of The Story", I'd claim that the Holocaust was part of the allies overlay on reality. I.e. the allies cube-edited it in to discredit the Hydra/Nazi regime.

I'd tie in neatly with the villainification of the allies and some conspiracy theories.

Most don't support Hydra. Hydra uses a combination of docility drugs in the water and the threat of violence to keep people in line. Your typical "villain conquers world" situation, basically.

Most people don't accept it and probably think it's a load of bullshit, but Hydra's taken over the country by force. Between the threat of violence to resistors and the docility drugs in the water supply, most people have no choice but to toe the line.
