I can't tell if that's sarcasm but sorry if I sounded a bit brash. I'm just trying to figure out where did the mockery come about Hawkeye being called hawkguy.

Because last time I checked from the Hawkeye one shot young avengers the two were on good terms.

Young Avengers Presents came out in 2008. That is nearly nine years ago.

In that time there has been a Fraction run, two Lemire runs and now Thomson's run on Hawkeye.

Not that it was mentioned anywhere in that solicit, but Hawkguy is based on what Fraction's son called Hawkeye.

In-comic, it's a nickname from one of Clint's neighbors who can't get the name right but is a Clint fan.

Titles confuse me.

Why didn't they go with Incredible Hulk instead of "Banner" Hulk?
Odinson instead of Unworthy Thor since this is clearly classic Thor before he was Unworthy?

And it's a little thing, but why are the new versions getting top billing over their classic counterparts... or at the very least why isn't there a variant which switches the billing, because as much as I love the new generation, it would be nice if some respect was thrown to the originals.

In the MU, Banner has been a euphemism for angry ever since the release of "The Breakfast Club". When Bruce was first revealed as the Hulk, so many cinema enthusiasts smugly turned to their long-suffering friends and loved ones and said "Well of COURSE".

See this just destroyed the little shred of hope I had about the upcoming relaunch/rebranding/whatever that Marvel was going to do. I mean I didn't expect much since all the same folks were still running things but I was hoping at least for a writer shuffle. Instead it seems that the writers are pretty much staying the same which is very disappointing as it means that I still won't be even considering buying the titles of some of the characters I love.

I wonder if Unworthy Thor will recognize Thor as Jane Foster. True, no one else has, but I'm not sure how many are as familiar with Jane as Thor is. And that's been retconned to them being romantically intimate. No, I don't know why I just can't just call it "sex."

To be fair, romantically intimate means that you have sex and are, see yourself being in love, or being attached with emotionally individual. Sex can just be sex , it can be hormones, fun, or because your bored.

Oh look, a bunch of $5 comics that use nostalgia as a primary selling point. This just seems like a means to remind many consumers why they aren't buying current Marvel comics, because the characters they were attached to were largely replaced by many characters nobody cares about.

Maybe with the goal of making them discover they actually do like the new characters?

I don't see how, if they can't sell these characters in their own titles, how they are going to be able to do the same things in titles costing a buck more starring the characters they replaced.
