Okay, I know this subject material is in Ennis' wheelhouse and his personal comfort zone....but this is actually HONESTLY good. Interesting characters, a story focusing on actual characters and situations and not running away with itself.

I'm shocked to say I might want to get this.

It's good, -and- its a free-to-play video game tie in. It's striking how good this is.

Yeah, that this is an official video game adaptation (which I didn't know when I made the above comment) probably explains why it's much more restrained than a lot of Ennis's work. ("Sorry, Garth, but we at Wargaming Group Ltd. have to put the kibosh on your 'demented masturbating God' and 'orgy pope' characters since nothing remotely like them is in the game and we have our branding to consider.")
