Supergirl's Wonder Woman (and also Supergirl and Batgirl) fanfic... Also interesting upcoming book

That sounds like an interesting take Diana's origin with this Alia in place of Steve... I will read it!


This is also an interesting take on Wonder Woman's origin (Supergirl doing a comic for June Moone's art class in DC Superhero Girls: Out of the Bottle #2).

I'm a bit saddened that DC Super Hero Girls probably won't release any male dolls.

Not because of the "Why are they gender-exclusive/reverse sexism" line of thinking, but because I rather like the designs of Beast Boy and Cyborg in the webisodes (even if the latter is ripped directly from the Teen Titans animated series) and would be interested to see them in toy form to go along with Starfire.

I get it, I'm also a bit sad it'll probably follow suit with Monster High and Ever After High and not make any of the teaching staff/adults. There's a few EAH adults I would have liked, and I certainly would like June Moone and Waller for this toyline.

I think the only one made was the Monster High headmistress. She was a toys r us exclusive packed with a horse and she didn't sell well. As for boy dolls, they tend to be put in multipacks in the MH/EAH lines, especially at the beginning. I did notice the male doll in the Scaris assortment had no presence whatsoever in the tv commercial. And yet there's also a "manster" two pack Mattel released last year. I always figured we'd get a two pack of Hal and Carol in this line but I'm sure we'll start seeing the new cartoon designs at SDCC.

Yeah I forgot there was a Mistress Bloodgood, the ones I would have liked to see for EAH were the Evil Queen, Snow White, and especially the Cheshire Cat. And yeah there were toys of the "mansters" pretty sure Deuce was sold on his own for the Boo York toyline.

What made Mistress Bloodgood possible was th that her body was also used for Cleo's older sister. I've seen a number of single male releases in both EAH and MH but they tended to be in multipacks, especially early on. MH has been rebooted with a more dew-eyed face style and I've heard that EAH was downgraded to a "toy box" brand which means even lower production costs.

Um, back to comics... I used an EAH Alistair to make a custom Anarky for D.C. superhero girls. He's the same height but he matches the face style well.
