You know, as silly an idea as this crossover is, the aesthetics and tone of Alien are spot on.

Superman's beyond nuclear level heat vision doesn't even give Darkseid a sun burn, but Alien acid blood turns Darkseid's fingers in to Slim Jims?

Have you looked at Darkseid? That seems to be how he normally looks; I think all it did was melt his gloves.

At worst, its like being in the bathtub too long for him.

I'm honestly more surprised that Darkseid was able to get his hand up quickly enough in order to prevent himself from being given a hugging, considering he had his face directly over the egg like most other schmucks in the movies. I know he's a New God, but speed is not his forte.
