I'm feeling a little underwhelmed, here. From these scans, it seems like the protagonist mostly stands around narrating. I mean, big things are happening, but this guy barely moves and just sort of remarks on the fact that they are. A guy torn between an oath of loyalty and a personal sense of honor killed himself right in front of our hero, and all Ted can muster is a bland "huh, you don't see that every day."

Well, I liked the Behemoth's honorable sacrifice. It was so unexpected, and heroic -heroism being something I seldom find in Marvel and DC comics nowadays.

I liked the heroic sacrifice, but I feel like it was undercut by ex-Man Thing's lackluster reaction.

RL Stine might be a good horror writer, but of everything I've seen of his *ahem*, Man-Thing, he leaves a lot to be desired as a writer of said character

I'll always have a soft spot for him because he was a big part of my childhood but yeah... he's really not that good a writer. I'm enjoying this comic because it's silly and doesn't take itself too seriously but I wouldn't want to see him do something on Locke & Key if you get what you mean.
