I can buy the, er, "enhanced" holographic shell bit because of comic-book SF science, but don't tell me any woman looking to be taken seriously as a professional would ever dress in a low-cut, midriff-baring, sleeveless top and micro-miniskirt while making business contacts.

I would LOVE a comic where Logan had to be all suaze and sexy and hand to come off as like... playboyesque. in a g string.... and one of those tanks that looks like spaghetti straps....

Yes. That's not a contrivance at all.

I would almost rather they not have tried to excuse it. Like how nobody in mainstream comics mentions that 99/100 female superheroes look like Sofia Vergara vacuum sealed into differently designed vinyl body suits (except no nipples). You just kind of roll your eyes, accept it as a trope appealing to the more juvenile male fans, and delight in the exceptions (Kitty Pryde, Kamala Kahn, etc...)

This lame assed excuse just makes me roll my eyes all the harder.

Yeah, nothing creepy about turning your dead sister into a living blowup doll. That's just part of the Five Stages of Grief. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Inappropriate Sexualization, and Acceptance.

Well this looks like Generic Revenge Fantasy (subclass: Badass Chick). Pass.

And really, wouldn't just having the goons break into the lab and steal everything be easier and less randomly evil than "You won't sell? Then you die. Right Now?"

I love how the comic just pulls this betrayal story completely out of its ass to justify summarily killing this person, and also blatant it is about this situation existing solely to set up a backstory monologue.

So...at some point Harper sat down and said to herself "So just how big *should* I make my dead sister's tits?"

I'm really not enthused about this development. And wish I'd used a different word than "development."

On top of everything else, anytime someone in a comic book says "I guess I've read too many comic books" or words to that effect, my brain just shuts down completely.
