Wow, way to escalate for no fucking reason Wolvie. Fucking Ghandi would be sorely tempted to punch your lights out.

Suddenly I have zero sympathy for him getting ripped in half.

Honestly, the 616 version tried to murder enough people because they might one day go out of control and be dangerous that I wasn't too broken up about him being bronzed (adamantiumed?) like a pair of baby booties.

I mean, yeah, Ultimate Wolverine is, and always has been, a raging dick. But it's not totally out of nowhere here- remember, Ultimate Banner turned into Hulk and killed a *lot* of people in New York City. Now he's making the argument that he's no longer an out of control, mass murdering threat.

Now if that's true, maybe Wolverine can call the mission off, walk away, and tell Fury to go screw himself. If it's not- if Hulk can be goaded back into a murderous rage by a couple of admittedly super crass comments- then that's something that Wolverine should legitimately check before he decides the mass murdering monster (and remember, Ultimate Hulk in his last couple appearances isn't the tormented giant who just wants to be left alone 616 Hulk is) should be left to chill with his inexplicable Monastery Harem.

Especially given that Ultimate Hulk has literally killed hundreds of people, already, was tried by a jury and sentenced to execution...and WAS executed, at least as far as the public knew. Unlike 616 Hulk, who was accidentally caught in a blast while saving an innocent, Ultimate Hulk experimented on himself due to his insecurities in a dangerous act of self-service that resulted in mass casualties.

Other than the Spiderman characters, most Ultimate universe characters are AWFUL.

In fact, I've read it's actually for the best to consider everything cept Ultimate Spidey as non-canon and just think of other Ultimate characters in context of being his supporting cast.

I hate the Ultimate versions of both of these characters (three if you include Bruce.). I wonder what Marvel was going for here. The only really likeable Ultimate counterpart is Peter Parker. His death, especially the way he died, made me sad for days.

Marvel seems not to want likable characters anymore. Even their mainstream heroes are dickheads. (E.g., Tony Stark kidnapping and torturing a kid as part of his grieving process in Civil War II and still having the moral high ground over Captain Marvel.)
