Dark Horse: "The Year of Groo marches on, as Groo marches right into Arcadio the Hero. Arcadio’s in the protection business, teaching villagers how to protect themselves from dragons . . . but he should be teaching them to protect themselves from Groo! Feather-brained barbarian thrills from the award-winning team of Sergio Aragonés and Mark Evanier, with Stan Sakai and Tom Luth."

It's funny to see The Minstrel take a swing at Arcadio since, in Arcadio's first apparition (and several after that), he followed him everywhere singing his praises. And he was indeed a famed warrior until he took on a lackey by name Groo.

They meet Arcadio, who is tangling with a pair of dragons he's actually training . Kayli thinks he might be her father.

They go into a village to find Arcadio's dragons. Groo thinks he founds one.

He decides to look for dragons in the mountains, while Arcadio wants to sell his services to protect the village from his own trained dragons.

Groo finds two of them, and is trying to bring them to the village.

He stole a baby dragon from the pair, who followed him to the village.

The baby dragon grows attached to Groo and Kayli eventually.
Arcadio is my least favourite recurring character in Groo. He is a take on the legends and lore of medieval heroes, but I think that Groo makes him redundant somehow.
Next up: Groo's sister, Queen Grooella!
